Description

Cital Oral Liquid (Cital Syrup) contains Disodium Hydrogen Citrate (1.37 g per 5 ml) as its active ingredient and is formulated to increase the pH of urine, making it less acidic. It’s indicated for:

• Gout — by reducing uric acid levels in the urine.

• Kidney Stones — by preventing formation and aiding dissolution.

• Renal Tubular Acidosis and Urinary Tract Conditions — including infections and painful urination.

How It Works:
Disodium hydrogen citrate metabolizes to bicarbonate, which helps:

• Make urine more alkaline.

• Increase solubility of cystine and urate by converting uric acid into more soluble forms.

Usage & Directions:

• Take 10–15 ml three times daily for adults, usually after meals to reduce stomach upset.

• Pediatric dosing (ages 7–12): 5 ml three times daily.
