Each 5 ml of Brustan contains:

Ibuprofen 100 mg — a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects

Paracetamol 125 mg — a widely used pain reliever and fever reducer

Mechanism of Action & Benefits

Paracetamol works centrally in the brain to reduce fever and relieve pain.

Ibuprofen inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes peripherally to reduce inflammation, pain, and fever

Combined, they offer enhanced symptom relief across a broad range of conditions including fever, aches, inflammation, and flu-like symptoms.
Indications
This suspension is used to relieve:

Headaches, toothaches, muscular aches, joint pain, back pain

Fever

Sore throat

Post-immunization pain

Cold and flu symptoms, including body aches
Dosage & Administration

Children (weight-based dosing):

Generally dosed using 5–10 mg/kg of ibuprofen every 6–8 hours as needed—not exceeding 40 mg/kg/day

Example: A 10 kg child may receive 2.5–5 ml per dose (up to 4 times daily).

Typical adult dosage information from generalized sources (not brand-specific) suggests up to 3000 mg paracetamol and 900 mg ibuprofen daily, divided doses every 6 hours, after food with water
