Description
Lorix Plus Lotion is a combination topical medication containing Permethrin and Crotamiton. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of scabies, a contagious skin infestation caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. The lotion works by eliminating mites and their eggs while helping to reduce itching and inflammation.
Permethrin acts as a parasiticidal agent that paralyzes and kills the mites and lice responsible for infestation. Crotamiton adds antipruritic (anti‑itch) and additional scabies‑fighting effects to help relieve irritation. Together, they make Lorix Plus effective for managing scabies, pediculosis (lice), and itchy skin conditions such as sunburn, dry eczema, dermatitis, allergic rashes, insect bites, and heat rashes.
