Description

What It Is

Sucrafil O Gel is a sugar-free oral gel combining two key ingredients:

  • Sucralfate (500 mg per 5 ml) — a cytoprotective agent that forms a protective layer over gastric and duodenal ulcers, facilitating healing by shielding damaged mucosa from acid and irritants, and stimulating prostaglandin Eâ‚‚ and mucus-bicarbonate production

  • Oxetacaine (10 mg per 5 ml) — a local anesthetic that quickly soothes pain and discomfort in the gastrointestinal lining

Indications & Benefits

Sucrafil O Gel is indicated for:

  • Relief of acidity and heartburn

  • Treatment and prevention of gastric and duodenal ulcers

  • Symptomatic relief from GERD, gastritis, and acid-induced pain

Mechanism of Action:

  • Forms a protective gel barrier over ulcerated areas

  • Shields mucosa from acid, pepsin, and bile

  • Provides immediate pain relief via local anesthesia

  • Initiates ulcer healing through enhanced mucosal defense mechanisms

Dosage & Administration

  • Typical dose: 10 ml, taken 3–4 times daily, 1 hour before meals—or as directed by a physician

  • Always shake well before use and measure with an accurate cup or dropper

  • For consistency, try to take it at similar times each day

Safety, Side Effects & Warnings
